Over the weekend, Nigerian based start-up, DropQue won the 2018 seedstars Lagos pitch.
DropQue is Africa’s first Interactive and Intelligent talent exchange. It uses crisp candidate profiles, unassisted video interviews and AI to help Companies find talent faster than ever.
Founded in 2016 by Opeyemi Akinwoleola and Yinka Akinbobola, it uses a combination of one-way unassisted video interviews and an artificial intelligence (AI) assessment assistant to help companies to source suitable candidates.

By winning Seedstars Lagos, DropQue will now represent Nigeria at Seedstar’s Africa summit in December and the global summit in Switzerland in 2018 where they will stand a chance to win up to $1-million in funding.
MyMedicines, Pharmaceutical e-commerce platform came second and crowd-sourcing start-up Natterbase was placed third.
Seedstars World is a part of the Swiss group Seedstars and runs the global startup competition covering over 65 emerging and developing markets.
