Oui Capital to Invest $10million In African Tech

Oui Capital, which is a Venture Capital firm recently announced a US$10 million fund for Tech Startups in Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa.

Spearheaded by Oluwaseun Oyinsan, who has had previous experience at Ingressive Capital– an early stage Venture Capital, the fund is channeled towards supporting startups with potential. Offering not only financial support, but also intellectual assistance as they will receive mentorship from technology and Industry experts.

Oyinsan explained that there is a lot of potential to be tapped from the African Ecosystem, likening it to the boom China experienced a while back. “It is pertinent that ventures like Oui Capital are available to finance this transformation to create wealth and impact.” He further added.

He went on to talk about the qualities in which Oui Capital is looking to put their money.  He mentioned that the Startups must solve real problems and must possess scalable solutions that can be effective when considering Africa’s large population.

“Our very early-stage investments support startups with significant growth and impact potential.” He said.

Oui Capital aims to invest in the fintech, mobility, healthcare and education sectors.
