The new application, courtesy of Tigo and 2CTV, will feature over 25 different local and international channels available to consumers from their mobile phones. Content on channels are of a wide variety, from news and sports to entertainment such as Adom TV and GHOne. How can consumers get access to this product and what value does it have to consumers? Read on to find out more about Tigo Mobile TV.

Tigo Mobile TV will be available to Tigo customers and will allow them to stream and watch live, uninterrupted television on their phones. The product has officially been launched. Since the 24th of this month, customers have been given the chance to subscribe for the service for free for one month. The service is accessible not only in the house, but in the office and while commuting as it uses mobile data to operate. In an interview with Joy News in Ghana, Chief Commercial Officer of Tigo, Tara Squire, discussed how Tigo has completed its dual carrier expansion and has been able to increase its capacity and data speeds, ensuring the TV service will be smoothly accessible.

To access the application, customers will need to download the 2CTV app and subscribe for the Tigo Mobile TV service. After the one month free subscription, customers will have to choose from a number of different packages that include daily, weekly and monthly offers.
