Nouveta is a fintech startup based in Kenya. The startup was formed last year in November and formally launched its operations in February of this year.

The services that Nouveta provides includes the ability for merchants and customers to transact in a much easier fashion through its personal payment gateway.

The channels of the gateway where its users can transact from are the web, apps, social media, SMS, and USSD.

The payments gateway is also integrated by Nouveta to adapt to whatever systems used by the service providers and merchants to manage their businesses for automated reconciliation.

Hezron Muriuki, CEO of Nouveta, said, “Nouveta is able to develop payments channels across all customer touch points to allow customers to pay conveniently. We have developed an Omni-channel payments experience, which allows for single-step approval by the customer to allow for payments to be processed.”

The solution that Nouveta provides can be accessed regardless of whether it is offline or online.

The startup has already started planning to expand further into more markets outside of its Kenyan roots.

Muriuki said, “We are looking forward to offer our solutions in the neighboring countries of Uganda and Tanzania. We are also entering Ethiopia having identified a few partners there we can work with.”

The startup is actively seeking out opportunities to grow their operations while keeping the needs of their customers in mind. The startup desires for their services to be available all across the world.
