Rain has deployed the first standalone 5G network in South Africa. Rain’s 5G network offers unlimited data for 24 hours daily and has a free-to-use 5G router. The customer can choose from the standard or premium plan, the streaming quality and network speed.

Airtel Africa has scaled its partnership with WorldRemit by extending services to more African countries. Beyond Rwanda, Airtel Money is now available in DRC, Uganda, Zambia, Tanzania, Niger and Malawi.
