According to reports, Facebook will announce a range of audio products under the umbrella of “connected audio,” including a take on Clubhouse, an audio-chat app, and a step into podcast discovery and distribution.

These plans include an audio version of Facebook’s Rooms video-conferencing service, which debuted a year ago.

According to the report, the Clubhouse-like product would allow groups of people to listen to and engage with speakers on a virtual “stage.”

According to the report, Facebook will also launch a product that allows users to record short voice messages and add them to their newsfeeds, as well as a podcast discovery service that will be linked to Spotify.
