WomHub, a South African female empowerment initiative, has collaborated with the Visa Foundation to develop the STEM is Everywhere programme, which aims to empower and support early-stage female founders in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mining, and Manufacturing) enterprises.
WomHub is a pioneering organisation committed to empowering women and girls in STEM through education, mentorship, and support, with the goal of creating a diverse and inclusive engineering and technology industry.
The STEM is Everywhere program will offer female entrepreneurs business resources, coaching, and access to WomHub’s innovation and technology hubs and networks. WomHub and Visa Foundation are partnering to close the gender gap and unleash the full potential of South Africa’s female entrepreneurs.
“This initiative aligns with our mission to empower women and girls in STEM, breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for the next generation of female leaders,” explained Anjani Harjeven, CEO of WomHub.
The STEM is Everywhere program will assist roughly 100 entrepreneurs in South Africa.
