Stitch, a fintech company based in South Africa has invited early-stage companies from all around the continent to present their solutions to investors and other stakeholders as part of its second startup showcase.

The company, which last year hosted its inaugural startup showcase, is currently accepting entries for the event’s second edition.

This infrastructure enables businesses to innovate, launch, and expand financial products and services, including solutions for wealth management, personal finance, lending, insurance, payments, and more. Fintechs may collaborate with established financial institutions in a safer and more legal manner thanks to Stitch.

With the Stitch API, which is currently available in South Africa and Nigeria, developers can quickly connect to their users’ financial accounts to authenticate user identity, access transactions, and balance information, and enable immediate, fraud-free bank payments.

In addition to pitch help from the Stitch team members, office hours with team members, and six months of free access to the Stitch solution in applicable regions, participants will get a fully-paid trip to Cape Town to attend the event.

During the annual Stitch x Raba Tech Summit, which will take place in Cape Town on February 24, selected startups will have the chance to present their ideas to local and international investors and tech pioneers.

The deadline for applications is Jan 31. The winners will be announced on Feb 3.
