The wait is over and the long-anticipated iPhones are here. Say hello to the latest Apple products in town – the Apple XS, XS Max and XR.

These devices were unveiled yesterday at Steve Jobs Theater, Apple Park, California by the company’s CEO; Tim Cook and his team after months of speculations, rumors and leaks.

Apple rolled out the XS, XS Max , the affordable XR and also released the Apple Watch Series 4, Apple TV and HomePod, and of course new processor. This is good news for Apple’s iPhone loyalist who have been anticipating to see the latest gadgets from the company.

In case you missed it, here are the big announcements from Apple Inc.

Apple Watch Series 4 Announcement

It was the first device announced and it will feature a larger display.

The Apple Watch Series 4 according to Apple has a 30 percent larger display. Apple’s new watch will show more information on a screen that will stretch all the way to the edges of the watch The company also stated that the body of the Apple Watch is slightly thinner, with almost the same 18-hour, all-day battery life.

There is a huge upgrade in the Apple Watch Series 4. There’s a ECG support function for measuring electrical activity of the heart, irregular heart rate detection, and a fall detection feature that calls emergency services in the case of a heart attack, cardiac arrest and more.

The price for GPS model starts from $399 while cellular model goes for $499.

iPhones Announcement

Apple’s Phil Schiller took to the podium to announce the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max.

Both phones feature improved water resistance touting a IP68 certification. The glass design has also been upgraded to be far stronger.

However, the iPhone Xs Max featured 6.5-inch display with a 2688×1242 resolution at 458 pixels-per-inch. The iPhone Xs Max supports landscape two-column applications like the iPhone 8 Plus and other ‘Plus’ model devices because of its larger display.

The two iPhones- Xs and Xs Max are powered by A12 Bionic processors, the first 7nm processor. Like the iPhone X, the 5.8-inch iPhone Xs and 6.5-inch iPhone Xs Max are both furnished with a TrueDepth camera for Face ID and dual rear cameras.

Meanwhile, there is confusing side of the two phones. The two phone look the same but, they can be differentiated by their size. The 6.5-inch iPhone Xs Max is the largest Apple product ever made and it has a lasting battery life.

Both iPhone Xs and Xs Max support blur adjustment and allow adjustments to its Portrait Mode after the image has been taken. The iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max supports dual-SIM technology using eSIM across the world except in China.

The iPhone Xs will start at $999 and the iPhone Xs Max starts at $1099. Both phones will be available in Space Gray, Silver, and Gold finishes, in 64 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB variations.

To end the event, Apple announced the iPhone Xr which happens to be the most affordable and colourful amongst the latest iPhone Xs series.

It featured an LCD display of 1792×828 resolution with True Tone Technology – which Apple is calling ‘Liquid Retina.’ Although, the display lacks 3D Touch, but instead, Apple furnished it ‘Haptic Touch’- long-press feature. It has single lens camera setup, which uses software technology to create Portrait Mode images like the dual-lens the other releases are capable of. That’s not all, the iPhone Xr also supports Face ID authentication

In a nutshell, the iPhone Xr looks like the Apple Xs and Xs Max, but the differences are quite clear.

The Xr sells at $749 for 64GB of storage and will be available on October 19th.
