Pade HCM, a human resources technology business in Nigeria, has closed a US$500,000 pre-seed funding round to help it expand its operations.

Zrosk IML, Zedcrest Capital, Microtraction, Expert Dojo, and Resilient 17 are among the international network of investors who contributed to the funding round, which also included a number of angel investors.

Seye Bandele and Lekan Omotosho founded Pade HCM in 2020 to simplify and automate HR procedures.

With US$6.3 million in payroll processed in 2022 and over 10,000 employee profiles managed, the startup has helped over 100 African businesses increase productivity and profitability.

According to Pade CEO Seye Bandele, “our mission is to assist businesses in becoming more productive, freeing up their time to focus on strategic tasks.” Professionals shouldn’t waste their precious time on HR duties that can be automated with little to no human interaction. Our software offers dependable HR management solutions across the board and assists organizations with onboarding, HRIS, payroll, compliance, performance management, asset management, disciplinary actions, and exit processes.

The company will be able to grow its operations and make investments in product development thanks to the new funding.
