The Yunus Environment Hub (YEH) has launched applications for its GrowUp Incubator.

The Yunus Environment Hub seeks to help green social enterprises in Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Burundi that are working on sustainable waste management solutions.

Prof Muhammad Yunus, a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, co-founded and leads YEH, which promotes and develops social business solutions that solve environmental problems in a financially self-sustaining manner.

During a six-month program, the incubator will assist social enterprises with the ability to scale and have a significant environmental and social impact.

Entrepreneurs will receive customized mentorship focused on their needs, immersive capacity-building sessions, connecting opportunities with regional stakeholders, and mentoring support.

GrowUp is seeking for companies that have a sustainable waste management solution, have been on the market for six months to three years, and have revenues of between $10,000 and US$25,000.
