MDXI Gets Microsoft, SAP Certification… Nigerian based full-scale data centre provider, MDXI has secured the Gold Data Centre certification from Microsoft. The Gold Data Centre is the highest partnership level with Microsoft in Data Centre Competencies and the pinnacle for Cloud Productivity in Microsoft’s Partner Network program.


Nigerian based start-up, DropQue wins 2018 seedstars Lagos pitch. DropQue is Africa’s first Interactive and Intelligent talent exchange.

By winning Seedstars Lagos, DropQue will now represent Nigeria at Seedstar’s Africa summit in December and the global summit in Switzerland in 2018 where they will stand a chance to win up to $1-million in funding.


CoinAfrique; a Senegalese fintech start-up, and Kenya’s African Management Initiative (AMI) have both secured undisclosed funding from an investment firm, Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P).

The fund appears to be the first set of funds released from the coffers of the investment firm’s IPAE 2 Fund – capital machinery that is believed to be worth up to USD 59 Mn.


Big news for Uber users as the company announced its latest feature that allows riders and drivers communicate through the company’s app using voice over internet protocol (VoIP). The new feature uses an internet connection rather than cellular phone service to make calls.
