Helsinki-based Measurlabs, a company that provides laboratory analysis and testing services to help researchers, quality assurance, and R&D professionals, announced that it has raised €2.5M in a seed round of funding.
The round was led by VentureFriends and joined by existing investors Lifeline Ventures, Tesi, and Curus.
Founded in 2017 by Teemu Myllymäki and Kalle Lagerblom, Measurlabs is an online platform with a mission to simplify the testing and analysis process for product developers, quality controllers, and researchers.
Measurlabs aims to help users save time and money by offering complete testing options, expert support, and potential cost savings on analysis.
The company, initially successful in Finland, has expanded globally, serving customers from nearly 40 countries. Its clients include sustainability industry leaders such as Sulapac, Woodio, and Kone.
Measurlabs says it will use the funds to scale its operations across Europe and further develop its logistics and purchasing platform. It plans to expand its presence, starting with the UK, by establishing local teams.
Additionally, the company is also focusing on improving its online platform by introducing in-platform payment options, aiming to enhance user convenience and facilitate growth.
