Leta, a B2B platform, has completed a $3 million Pre-SEED round with participation from 4Di Capital, Chandaria Capital, Chui Ventures, PANI, Samurai Incubate, Verdant Frontiers Fintech, and angel investors.

Leta is a technology firm founded by Nick Joshi last year that creates supply chain & logistics software to enable the effective and automated flow of commodities across Africa.

Leta’s patented route and load optimization technology are intended to increase delivery efficiency and decrease the number of vehicles required for distribution, resulting in cost savings and improved competitiveness.

“We are a logistics operating system, and our software can show distributors the fastest route to service clients while allowing them to employ fewer assets (vehicles) to serve more customers,” the company claims. Additionally, it allows for the tracking of the driver, the particular commodities being transported, the loading of the truck to determine whether space is being utilized to its full potential, the duration of the trip, and the distance covered,” Joshi said.

“Our next year is going to be fairly big for us,” Joshi continued. We have a solid grasp of both our sales process and go-to-market strategy, and our product has stabilized. With the money we have raised, we will be able to expand fast into new areas, starting in Ghana in December.

When a client’s fleet is insufficient, the business plans to introduce a marketplace for transport services that would let them request more delivery vehicles.
