PrestaFreedom, a Moroccan startup that specializes in household subscriptions and other services for individuals, received $1 million in funding.
Azur Innovation Fund, a seed public-private investment fund that invests in innovative startups, provided the funding.
PrestaFreedom, a services platform founded in 2020, provides regular and customized cleaning subscriptions, allowing users access to a variety of services to assist them in their daily life.
“We are proud of this growth opportunity offered to us by our Azur Innovation Fund partners. This is a decisive step in the development of this startup that I launched a few years ago to meet a specific need and whose success today exceeds the most optimistic forecasts,” according to Majid Benslimane, CEO of PrestaFreedom.
In addition to this round, PrestaFreedom reported that it had succeeded in raising a number of funding to speed up its go-to-market operations.
The startup intends to further expand across Morocco and the rest of Africa; the money will be used to strengthen its logistical and technology networks to accommodate the rising demand for its products and services.
