In the quest to make its service available across Africa, Gabonese based event ticketing startup, Tikkeo has expanded to Ivory Coast. The startup allows organisers to promote their events and sell tickets online while attendees pay with their smartphones.

Also, on the platform, event organisers can market, sell tickets, track registrations, and follow up with cash flow in real time.

While speaking with Disrupt Africa, the start-up founder and chief executive officer, Laurain Essono Ngoua said “Our added value at the pan-African level is about technology.

Tikkeo was launched in 2015 and has registered over 30,000 ticket sales in Gabon and this has made it possible for the start-up to expand to Ivory Coast.

The start-up charges eight per cent of every ticket sold on its platform and it serve as source of income for the start-up.
