Cashmadam was announced winner after pitching its idea to over 5,000 guests alongside with Cure (Tunisia), Exportunity (Republic of Benin), Ecoprune (Nigeria), and Nomad Life (Madagascar).

Founded by Mahassin Quadri in 2016, CashMadam helps small and growing businesses to automate their operations to increase profit and grow. The start-up is an app that records relevant business information and converts this information using basic triggers to prompt the user to take the right actions and decisions.

The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme was launched in 2015, it is the largest African philanthropic initiative devoted to entrepreneurship to identify and empower 10,000 African entrepreneurs, create a million jobs, and add $10 billion in revenues to Africa’s economy.
