The annual VC4A Venture Showcase is now accepting applications from African founders who are at the helm of innovative and disruptive companies or have scaled to the next level.
The Venture Showcase is not limited to a certain industry but rather highlights all startups making a significant contribution to Africa’s economic development.
The VC4A Venture Showcase Africa graduates have raised more than US$630 million since the program’s introduction in 2017, and this year’s edition is searching for firms that are active in Africa, making money, and seeking to raise a seed or Series A round.
Since the African European Digital Innovation Bridge (AEDIB) and Work in Progress are partners on this year’s edition, there will be four additional tracks in addition to seed and series A, including one each for climate-smart agriculture, smart cities, digital trade, and clean technology.
The VC4A Venture Showcase deal room, which has more than 200 early-stage investor companies, as well as Investor Readiness Training (IRT), mentorship, and technical support from collaborating VC investors and corporates, will be accessible to selected ventures.
The deadline for applications is May 17.
