Qualcomm, a leading global provider of wireless technology, is now accepting applications for its Make in Africa Startup Mentorship Programme.
The programme provides startups with access to engineers, coaching, and advice on intellectual property protection.
The platform will connect award recipients, small-to-medium sized startups, and local colleges with Qualcomm experts and its cutting edge suite of mobile platform and technology capabilities, including 4G, 5G, IoT, AI, and machine learning.
With the launch of the Make in Africa Startup Mentorship Programme, it has gone one step further.
This equity-free mentorship programme will identify promising early-stage startups that are eager to apply cutting-edge connectivity and processing technologies to creative end-to-end systems solutions, including hardware.
These companies will receive business coaching, access to engineering consultation for product development, and advice on intellectual property protection.
The programme will run from April through November.
In December, there will be a demo day to cap it off.
The deadline for applications is February 18.
