Seedstars EWEA

The Seedstars Enhancing Women Entrepreneurship in Africa (EWEA) program is seeking applications from women-led small to medium-sized businesses, as well as community enablers and entrepreneurship support programs across Africa, for its mentorship and skill-building workshop series.

The EWEA program is a joint effort of GrowthAfrica, Seedstars, and the AFAWA (Affirmative Finance Action for Women in Africa) Initiative.

The EWEA program will offer long-term and scalable capacity building, access to mentorship, access to funding, and access to visibility for both WSMEs and community enablers in Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Malawi, Morocco, Mozambique, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Zambia. This will be done through collaboration with the AFAWA initiative of the African Development Bank and GrowthAfrica.

The following criteria must be met by women business owners in Africa who want to take part in the program:

Required to be located in Africa;

Show that you’re interested in finding out more about how to prepare for investment.

The EWEA program offers mentoring through the Seedstars network and access to the investment preparedness program through the Seedstars Online Academy to women-led small to medium businesses.

Interested entrepreneurs and enablers can register online before December 31, 2022.
