Crenov8 Consulting is bringing its Agro export conference, Meet the Farmers Conference (MTFC), to Rwanda on October 5, 2018 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Rwanda.

The Agro Conference is targeted at connecting large scale agro commodity producers to buyers and investors in the Middle East. Crenov8 started this initiative last year to create a platform where the African agricultural producers will meet with off takers in the Middle East and beyond to effectively translate business deals, and it held its first edition in Dubai in 2018.

According to Bola Oyedele of Crenov8 Consulting, “Meet The Farmers Conference is targeted at both large and small-scale farmers to tap into the $100billion market in Dubai- that’s why we are partnering with relevant stakeholders across both government with Bank of Agriculture, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Federal Ministry of Agriculture as well as the private sector with the likes of Farmcrowdy and AFEX to help us aggregate farmers to export Agric produce to the UAE.”

MTFC was successfully held in Ghana on July 4, and another in Kenya on September 21, 2018. Another will hold in Rwanda on October 5 while Nigerian edition will hold on the 10th October 2018 Nigeria. The main conference which will hold in Dubai and it’s slated for the 4th and 5th of November, 2018.

“Kenya, Ghana and Rwanda have benefitted immensely from the first conference we held in Dubai in 2017 and we have set up warehouses and business links for many agribusinesses in the UAE.” Bola also said.

MTFC aims to strengthen the international trade ties that exist between Africa and the GCC through agriculture, utilizing the unique positioning of Dubai as a hub. The theme for this year is of this year is ‘’The Future of Agribusiness.’’

Rwandan Minister for Agriculture and Livestock, Gerardine Mukeshimana, Madam Sandrine Urujeni, Deputy CEO of National Agricultural Export Board (NAEB), Representatives from Bank of Kigali, Godfrey Kabera, Chairman of RwandAir and other renowned Agric stakeholders in Rwanda would be speaking at the conference.

The event is open to all with an attendance fee of 100 USD and interested participants can register for Meet the Farmers Conference Nigeria via here
